In response to a recent fundraising appeal, the Christian Healing Center was given a number of pieces of artwork.  We are offering these for sale and will use the proceeds for ongoing operations and building renovation.  Most of these pieces are available for viewing at the Center, 791 Valley Crest Dr., Vista, California 92084.

If you (or anyone you know) would like to own any of these pieces, and would like to support the Christian Healing Center, now is the time to act.  Contact Board Member Robert (Bob) Graves at 858-755-8990 or RobtGraves@sbcglobal.net.

The first, and perhaps most spectacular, of the pieces is a 22" by 14" by 10" steel and aluminum sculpture entitled “The Next Move” created in 1980 by acclaimed artist Theodore (Ted) Gall.  The sculpture depicts a masked, caped figure in a game of chess, a metaphor for the game of life. It stands 22 inches tall on a 10" x 14" chess  board base.  The cape extends approximately 5" in two directions beyond the base. The artist has estimated its value at $9,500.  In order to sell the piece quickly without paying gallery fees, we are offering it at a price of $4500.

This is the base, showing the chess board, Ted's name, and “80”, the year it was created.
